No Mouse in My House

Disney is a household name and most Americans have a catalog of Disney characters and stories imbedded in their memory. Walt Disney World alone attracts more than 58 million visitors a year and their movies and shows reach billions. Disney also owns (or partially owns) a collection of media and movie properties that expands its influence even more, including:

  • ABC
  • ESPN
  • Hulu
  • Touchstone Pictures
  • Marvel
  • Lucasfilm (Star Wars)
  • A&E
  • The History Channel
  • Lifetime
  • Pixar
  • Hollywood Records
  • Vice Media

This massive company has an unrivaled ability to influence American culture, and its economic strength has given it a unique ability to lobby localities, states, and the federal government—as well as foreign governments. Unfortunately, Disney is no longer content in lobbying for and against policies and regulations that will simply affect its business. Disney has become increasingly “woke,” and is now using their power and influence to drive left-wing policies that have little to do with Bambi and Boba Fett.

Disney publicly fought against Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill. “Classroom instruction,” the law says, “by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

It’s time for companies like Disney to realize that if they go woke, they will go broke. We encourage all consumers to boycott Disney and the companies they own in order to send a message that they should stay out of culture wars and focus on entertainment.

Take the “No Mouse In My House” pledge. Sign below to tell Disney that you are boycotting the Disney company until they decide they are an entertainment company and not Leftist social justice activist organization!
